The DVD, "AMERICA: Revised & Revived" is a prayer for America, and features music and lyrics by Johnnie Helm as a revision of the original song by Samuel F. Smith.
The idea was envisioned by Tommie Helm of Spirit & Understanding, Inc. ministries of Jacksonville, TX.
The DVD back cover shows the patriotic sign that inspired the project. It was located at the Cy Remington Ranch in Cherokee County, TX. where the video was shot in 2010.

His second solo project (and first CD,) released in January 2000, When I Hold Her, is packed with real life stories dripping with emotion. He also covers that important country topic, trains.
Johnnie’s live performances often include angelic harmonies provided by his wife Trisha.

Johnnie’s first solo project entitled Freeway Man was recorded with the Elm St. Band. Produced, arranged and engineered by Johnnie and Tommie Helm at Duo Studios, Freeway Man was released on cassette in 1987.
